| Orphaned after the destruction of his home planet, Krypton, Kal El lands on earth as an infant. Raised by foster parents as Clark Kent, the boy discovers he has superhuman powers of strength, speed, flight and near invulnerability. Clark Kent takes on the role of Superman, fighting for truth, justice and the American way. While often fighting evil alone, Superman sometimes teams up with Batman, and later helps form the Justice League. |
