Victor Von Frankenstein, immoral genius, seeks to create life out of the remains of the dead. He succeeds and is horrified at the monster he creates. Rejected and attacked by those that fear him, the creature demands that Frankenstein make a mate for him, to ease his loneliness. The scientist agrees, but when he again see the monstrosity he has created, he destroys the creature's mate. In revenge, the monster destroys all that Frankenstein loves and then leads his creator to death on the iceflows of the arctic.

The creature now travels the world, searching for a place where he can find peace and hoping for a companion who will not hate him for the monster he is. His travels lead him through many countries and across many generations. Along the way, he battles with men who fear him and struggles with other supernatural creatures like Dracula and the Werewolf.
