Dracula, Prince of Darknes, is awakened in the 20th Century. Again, he travels by night, seeking out the unwary, feeding on the unprotected, and building an army of vampire slaves following his will blindly. Although challenged occasionally by supernatural beings such as Frankenstein or the Werewolf, his only true threat comes from a small band of vampire hunters. This group includes Frank Drake, a decendent of the vampire, Rachel Van Helsing, Quincy Harker and Blade. Later, the group is joined by Hannibal King, a vampire himself, seeking to redeem himself from his curse by destroying Dracula. The team finally succeeds in destroying Dracula, only through the sacrifice of Harker who also dies. Of course, Dracula has died and risen many times before ....
