Dr. Fate

In the early 1940's, a young boy named Kent Nelson ventured into the temple of Nabu the Wise. Releasing Nabu from suspended animation, Kent was transformed into a full-grown man and given possession of Nabu's magical artifacts (a helmet, amulet, and cloak), thereafter assuming the identity of Dr. Fate.

Dr. Fate uses his magical powers to fight evil, both human and supernatural. He is a founding member of the Justice Society of America.
