A child sees his parents brutally gunned down in a robbery. Later, the boy swears vengeance against all criminals. As years pass, Bruce Wayne prepares himself, becoming a master scientist and criminologist, training his body to physical perfection and studying the martial arts. One night, as Wayne ponders how he can strike terror in the hearts of criminals, a bat crashes through his window. With this sign, the Batman is born.
